We have built a consolidated, near real-time visualization tool, PALADIN, that tracks network outages, STIG compliance, End-of-Life assets, and Cyber Threat Intelligence. By aggregating these distinct data streams into a single pane of glass, we enable commanders at the MAJCOM, Wing, and Squadron levels to pivot from reactive troubleshooting to proactive, risk-based resource allocation.
As the Department of the Air Force navigates an increasingly contested digital environment, the speed and accuracy of cyber decision-making are paramount. Currently, critical network health and security metrics—such as network outages, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance, End-of-Life (EOL) asset tracking, and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI)—are often siloed across disparate systems. This fragmentation forces cyber operators and commanders into a reactive posture, expending valuable time finding, correlating (or missing) data rather than mitigating threats.
To realize the future of cyber as automated, agile, and assured, our team has developed a consolidated, near real-time cyber battlespace visualization platform. This tool automates the ingestion and correlation of these previously distinct data streams, presenting a unified "single pane of glass" for network health and security posture. Versions exist across classification levels: Unclassified and Secret now, with Top Secret intended.
This continuous, automated synthesis allows for unprecedented agility. Commanders at the MAJCOM, Wing, and Squadron levels can instantly visualize their cyber terrain, understand overlapping risk factors, and pivot their teams from reactive troubleshooting to proactive, risk-based resource allocation. Ultimately, this capability ensures a more assured and resilient operational network, empowering leaders to make data-driven decisions at the speed of relevance.
